San Roque Chapel
It was built in the middle of the 17th century. In the past, it was located in the outskirts of the town centre and it was a prayer centre for the peasants. Today, the chapel is situated in the town centre in a square which bears its name.
It consists of three naves separated by short and thick columns. In the right nave there are two altarpieces with the images of Our Father Jesus Captive (who has natural hair) and Saint Roque. In the left nave there is an altarpiece where you can find the image of Our Lady Immaculada Concepción. In the main altarpiece you can see the image of Our Christ of the Veracruz, which dates back to the 18th century and has a great artistic value.
